Polygon faces a pivotal leadership transition as co-founder Mihailo Bjelic exits the project. His departure from the Polygon Foundation board and operational roles at Polygon Labs leaves Sandeep Nailwal as the last remaining member of the original founding team.
The network, initially launched as MATIC by Jaynti Kanani, Nailwal, Bjelic, and Anurag Arjun, has undergone gradual team restructuring since its inception. Bjelic’s exit marks the most significant shift in the project’s governance since its rebranding to Polygon.
